    Non è chiaro: intendi dire che l’umanità dovrebbe rispettare la natura allo stesso modo in cui l’umanità rispetta l’umanità, oppure intendi dire che l’umanità dovrebbe rispettare la natura come la natura rispetta la natura?

    Perché nel primo caso mi verrebbe da dirti che già lo fa: l’umanità tratta la natura male, esattamente come tratta il resto dell’umanità…

  2. Ho corretto: per «essa» intendo la natura, ovvero l’umanità dovrebbe rispettare la natura non più né meno di quanto la natura rispetta se stessa. A volte noi esageriamo sia in un senso che nell’altro: da una parte distruggiamo indiscriminatamente, dall’altro vogliamo proteggere qualcosa che è nella natura delle cose debba morire o estinguersi.

    La morale umana non si può e non si deve applicare alla natura: la natura è amorale per definizione.
